2021 Goals, Objectives & Strategies

1. Advocacy of the City of Marco Vision to be “a great residential community with small town charm”

2. Protecting the needs and goals of Single Family Homes (SFH) quality of life and environment.

3. Common Ground Recommendations - Bringing forward reasonable common-sense solutions to short term rentals concerns on Marco Island.

4. Research Group - Research initiatives/programs to understand short term rentals impact to resident of Marco Island.

5. Communication Group - Increase outreach and communication with all Marco Island stakeholders concerning short term rental properties. Including social media, newsletters, newspapers etc.

6. Community Focus - Holding community awareness meetings.

7. Increase City Involvement - with presentations to clubs, organizations, businesses to gain volunteers and possible sponsorship.

8. Improve City of Marco Systems - Work towards installation of real estate identification system on Marco Island Police vehicles and computer systems.

9. Assist the City of Marco in enforcing existing codes, rules and regulations.

10. Community Organization - Work with community organizations such as Chamber of Commerce, MICA, MIPD, MI Fire Department, Community Association Managers of Marco Island (CAMMI).
